The true question is how can you not love her?
Emma Swan is one of the most beautiful character I have ever seen. You have to appreciate not only Jennifer Morrison’s crazy beautiful acting but also how good she is. No matter how shitty her life could be, Emma has always been a person capable of empathy, she has never turned into a villain, no matter how many times people screw her over, she still remains a good person.
I love her because she kicks ass, she is a bail bond person, she made herself on her own, look at her apartment in Boston, this is a woman who built her life from zero to ten, she was an orphan, an ex prisoner, and yet she made it to being someone with a good living, with a place on her own, no one helped her and she made it on her own. She became a good person on her own, without the help of anyone.
She’s a force to reckon. She grew up with a code she gave herself.
She’s a selfless person, she didn’t bond with Henry because she was his biological mother, she bonded with him because she saw in him a lost boy who needed love just like hers, even though she hated Regina, Emma has always tried to give Henry the best she could and try to make things okay with his other mom, it’s only when things went down and when she thought her son to be in danger that she took him away.
She would die for her boy, she would die for her friends and the people she loves.
But she’s not just strong, she’s made of flaws, walls and imperfections that make me love her all the more; she is vulnerable, scared of being loved and loving people, this is something I can relate all too much and I love seeing her opening up. She’s like a flower, slowly opening up to your eyes.
She falls in love with her son, she bonded with Mary Margaret, became her best friend, and the care she had for her was something so touching. She had become family to her. Emma doesn’t show much of her feelings, yet you see it in the wrinkles of her eyes when she smiles, you see it when she reaches to touch MM’s hands. She’s a friend. She’s a mom. She’s a daughter.
Then you have Emma learning to love and accept her parents, you can see her being this woman-child when she hugs her father, when she runs into his arms.
Her relationship with Killian Jones has to be among the best, you see her opening to love, this so risky kind of love, yet so worth it, and even tho she doesn’t say the words you can see her in the way she strokes his face, caresses his neck and kisses him how much she loves him. You saw her bonding with this man since day one and running away scared of what could come up from this union and now we have her embracing him all, loving him.
She’s beautiful because she is so realistic in her emotions, in her goodness. She’s beautiful in and out. Her hair is stunning, I love her wardrobe, one of the best imo, I’ve been craving a character like Emma Swan on tv; badass and feminine without being this archetype of girlie woman.
The true question is why don’t you love her?
Come up to meet you, tell you I’m sorry You don’t know how lovely you are I had to find you, tell you I need you Tell you I set you apart

You and I we understand each other,
made of shattered pieces, we hold onto each other as the world falls apart, clinging and clenching one heart against the other, hoping that in the middle of the chaos, we find sense to it, our own safe haven.
